Job Description:

The Production Technician II role involves manufacturing high-quality life-saving products, operating machinery, performing maintenance, ensuring product quality through rigorous standards, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Operate, monitor, maintain and make adjustments to machinery
load and replenish production supplies
perform routine and preventative maintenance
perform scheduled quality checks and document manufacturing logs
investigate inefficiency in machine performance
identify process improvements
participate in Continuous Improvement and other Team initiatives
communicate with outgoing shift personnel
perform scheduled cleaning activities
notify Supervisor of any issues
learn and apply quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP
sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
must be at least 18 years of age
basic English written and oral communication skills
ability to understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions
detail oriented
good critical thinking and problem solving skills
good communication skills
ability to multitask
knowledge of complex mechanical and electrical machinery
basic knowledge of electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics
PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) Operator Certification
ability to analyze data
strong decision making skills
ability to perform basic mathematics
proficient with measurement tools and basic hand tools
basic computer skills
ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
ability to stand/walk continuously
passing the P.I.V. physical
normal visual acuity and ability to distinguish color
ability to squat, climb, reach, kneel, twist, bend, and balance.
