Job Description:

We are in search of a Programmer Analyst to join our team located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role involves a variety of tasks including software design, system analysis, problem identification, and learning different coding languages and application integration tools.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and analyze software specifications through precise application requirements analysis
Identify potential system issues, needs, and new requirements by contributing to the system design and analysis
Undertake application programming, code enhancement, and maintenance, along with thorough documentation
Write, optimize, and maintain code/processes for excellent performance, guaranteeing accessibility, and performing unit testing of code/processes
Supervise system performance and provide support across various application platforms
Participate in periodic maintenance activities including refreshes, patching, and upgrades
Maintain the database and conduct system administration through development and modifications
Recommend effective new technologies and procedures to the Application Development Team after careful analysis
Concentrate on application design to ensure usability and adherence to accessibility best practices

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented experience as a Programmer Analyst or in a similar role
Proficient in PHP and Laravel
Strong understanding of software development principles
Experience with database design and data modeling
Ability to write clean, well-documented code
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members
Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
