Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Administrator in the construction industry. The position is based in Sparks, Nevada, and involves supporting our construction project team with administrative tasks, documentation, hiring, and project coordination.

Job Responsibility:

  • Offer administrative assistance to the construction project team, focusing on maintaining up-to-date and precise documentation
  • Be actively involved in the hiring process of new field employees, including onboarding and tracking relevant training
  • Organize and maintain critical records such as project files, contracts, and RFI logs
  • Oversee the scheduling of meetings, site visits, and other project-related activities
  • Track compliance with local hiring regulations in the construction industry

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is mandatory
  • Familiarity with Concur is required
  • Competence in using About Time software is essential
  • Proven experience in answering inbound calls is necessary
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the construction industry
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in onboarding and hiring processes
  • Prior experience in managing commercial construction projects is crucial
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction costs
  • Proficiency in handling construction documents
  • Deep understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
