Job Description:

Our client, a large Queensland government department, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager - ICT responsible for planning and managing projects within the Corporate Technology Services program of works. This may include delivery of new applications or components, extension or upgrade of existing applications or components.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage definition, documentation and completion of complex projects
ensure use of project management techniques, methodologies and tools
monitor, control and report project performance
initiate and maintain relationships with stakeholders
manage capability and resource development by mentoring teams
organize activities in a virtual environment
provide advice to define technology roadmaps and solutions

Requirements:

HR/Payroll/ Rostering or Finance system technical and functional project management experience
project management methodology (PRINCE2 projects preferred)
change management (ICT related)
proven experience in delivery of large and complex HR/Payroll, Rostering or Finance based projects
proven stakeholder relationship management skills
proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills
meeting facilitation skills including teleconference and web conference
proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams
proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
mentoring and skill-sharing
experience in release management processes
relevant qualification and/or accreditation in PRINCE2, MSP, ITIL framework, Agile or SAFE
experience using SAP Activate methodology

Nice to have:

Experience in complex Government project environments
experience working within the healthcare services sector
