Job Description:

This exciting role involves managing a variety of water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plant upgrades and expansions, wastewater treatment plant construction and refurbishment, pipeline installation and rehabilitation, reservoir and dam construction and maintenance, and pump station upgrades and new builds.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
Manage and coordinate a team of engineers, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve challenges, and implement solutions to ensure project success
Maintain strong relationships with clients (e.g., water companies, local authorities), stakeholders, and regulatory authorities
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards specific to the water sector

Requirements:

A proven track record in project management within the water sector, ideally with experience delivering a range of water infrastructure projects
A strong understanding of water industry regulations, best practices, and construction techniques specific to water treatment, wastewater treatment, and pipeline infrastructure
Excellent knowledge of relevant engineering principles, design standards, and construction methodologies
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget
