A well-established and highly reputable civil contractor based in Orange is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. With over 10 years of success in delivering major civil infrastructure projects across the region, our client is recognised as one of the most trusted names in the industry. Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee the delivery of large civil projects, including roads, earthworks, subdivisions, stormwater, and drainage
Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards
Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and resources to ensure successful project execution
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or risks that may arise
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites
Manage contract documentation, including scope of works, variations, and progress claims
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry, particularly with roads, earthworks, subdivisions, stormwater, and drainage projects
Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, budgeting, and risk management
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations within the civil construction industry
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline would be highly regarded
At least 5 years of experience working in Australia in the civil construction industry
Australian Citizenship is required for this role
Experience working with clients, contractors, and subcontractors in a collaborative and professional manner
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
