Job Description:

Robert Half is searching for a Property Accountant responsible for managing accounting transactions, journal entries, leasing costs, bank reconciliations, and year-end audits for a property management firm. The role is ideal for someone with strong GAAP knowledge, bilingual Spanish/English fluency, and experience in cost accounting or real estate accounting software.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare financial statements
Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules
Review and approve invoices
Analyze and document loan activity
Perform CAM reconciliation
Support and facilitate the auditing process
Prepare property projections
Assist with cash flow analysis
Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ year of cost accounting experience
Property Management/Real Estate industry experience preferred
MRI experience a plus
Strong GAAP knowledge
MUST be bilingual in Spanish/English

Nice to have:

Property Management/Real Estate industry experience preferred
MRI experience a plus
