Job Description:

Anna Parson at Robert Half is actively recruiting for a sharp and articulate Property Accountant with an excellent accounting foundation for an esteemed real estate client. As the Property Accountant, you will play a critical role in reviewing financial reports and transactions, delivering financial insights and maintaining the financial health of various properties. We are seeking candidates with exceptional analytical and technical accounting skills who can act as a trusted partner for financial management and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare comprehensive financial reports and management reports for each property, including KPI analysis and supporting schedules
Carry out property-specific cash management activities to ensure liquidity and efficiency
Analyze lease abstracts and review all associated property transactions and statements
Process and prepare partnership distributions with accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Extensive knowledge of Real Estate Accounting
Ability to prepare Monthly Financial Statements
Knowledgeable in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Familiarity with Waterfall models
Experience in Audit Preparation
Understanding of Fair Value accounting principles
Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting
Familiarity with Fixed Asset Depreciation methods
