Job Description:

A Property Accountant position in the commercial real estate industry located in Greenwood Village, involving full-time onsite work. Responsibilities include tenant billings, accounts payable/receivable, monthly reporting, ledger integrity, audits, CAM reconciliation, and accrual accounting. Key requirements include experience in property accounting and proficiency with accounting software. Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accurate and timely processing of tenant billings, lease charges, and rent payments, keeping in line with lease agreements
manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring correct allocation of expenses
conduct thorough monthly financial reporting for assigned properties, adhering to accrual accounting principles
maintain the integrity of the general ledger and guarantee compliance with GAAP and company policies
provide support during audits, preparing necessary accrival schedules and documentation
assist in the Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliation process, ensuring proper accruals and allocations
record and maintain accurate accruals for property-related expenses, including utilities, property taxes, and vendor invoices
perform bank reconciliations regularly and accurately
support budget preparation by tracking expense trends
utilize accounting software systems effectively for all accounting functions

Requirements:

1+ years experience in property accounting (3+ preferred)
full cycle accrual accounting with properties varying in size from small to larger portfolios

Nice to have:

Yardi Voyager– HIGHLY preferred
