Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the real estate industry for a Property Accountant, based in San Antonio, Texas. As a Property Accountant, your role will involve a range of accounting tasks, from managing property cash flow to preparing and reviewing financials monthly. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of company assets, construction costs, and bank accounts.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review monthly financials, ensuring accuracy across all ledgers
Manage property cash flow for multiple commercial real estate properties, including monthly reporting and cash flow projections
Maintain accurate records of company assets, construction costs, and bank accounts
Enter journal entries and approve invoices for payment
Assist in budgeting and forecasting, as well as managing partner distributions
Oversee bookkeeping, cash availability, banking, and general ledger review
Approve and monitor property expenditures
Assist the Corporate Accountant with tax return preparation
Handle Capital Roll Forwards, tax journal entries, investor correspondence (K1s), and fixed asset additions
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Coding
Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Knowledge of AMSI
Proficiency in using AppFolio
Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
Knowledge of Accrual Accounting
Experience in Auditing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Yardi
Familiarity with Yardi Software
