Job Description:

We are seeking a Property Administrator who can join our client in Baltimore City and make a significant impact on daily operations. This role is pivotal in the Housing Services Department and requires a background in property management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the resident recertification process within the Housing Services department
  • Utilize Yardi software for various property administration tasks
  • Manage various aspects of housing services, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all resident interactions and recertifications
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the Housing Services department
  • Support efforts to provide affordable housing options by ensuring compliance with housing subsidy programs and guidelines
  • Facilitate the acceptance and administration of housing vouchers, including working with residents and external partners to process applications and maintain compliance with requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in property management or a similar role within a non-profit organization
  • Strong understanding of property management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including property management software
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand and adhere to the laws and regulations relating to property management
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and take initiative
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
