Job Description:

We are seeking a Property Damage Claims Specialist to join our team in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will handle customer property damage claims related to our electric service operations, managing the claims process from receipt to settlement while ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policy. This hybrid position offers a mix of on-site and remote working days.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle customer property damage claims resulting from our service operations
  • Oversee the entire claims process, from receipt to final determination and settlement
  • Ensure all actions comply with state regulations and our company's policy
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all claims
  • Provide quality customer service and handle escalated calls when necessary
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding claims decisions and rationale
  • Analyze claims to ensure appropriate losses are paid for each event
  • Assist in determining liability for damage claims
  • Maintain tracking records of all accepted and denied claims
  • Handle other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong Customer Service skills to handle client queries and complaints professionally
  • Proficiency in Documentation for record keeping and report generation
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report creation
  • Familiarity with Operations in the insurance sector for efficient workflow management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing
  • Knowledge of About Time software for time tracking and management is beneficial
  • Experience in Claim Administration for managing and processing claims
  • Ability to maintain Confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of claim information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks
  • Capacity to Ensure Compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Settlements and Liability assessment for claim resolution
  • Excellent Written Communication skills for internal and external correspondence
  • Familiarity with Local Regulation related to property insurance claims
  • Experience in Property Claim processing and resolution.
