Job Description:

My client, a well-established and award-winning firm in Leeds, is looking for an experienced fee earner to join their busy Psychiatric Injury Department. The team specializes in a range of psychiatric illness matters, with a particular focus on Stress at Work claims. This role involves managing an existing caseload of these claims, with the opportunity to expand into other psychiatric injury cases.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a caseload of complex, multi-track psychiatric injury cases caused by workplace stress (under supervision)
Handling fee-earning work while contributing to the firm’s ongoing success

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ fee-earning experience
At least 2 years of experience handling litigated personal injury cases, particularly in Industrial Disease and/or Clinical Negligence

Nice to have:

Some experience with Employment Tribunal cases or a solid understanding of employment law
Experience working with vulnerable clients
Familiarity with Proclaim case management system
