Job Description:

This role primarily involves supervising and managing audit engagements, developing and mentoring team members, and overseeing accounting functions mainly within the construction and manufacturing sectors. The work environment is a hybrid model, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work. Our client is offering relocation assistance.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage audit engagements in accordance with the company's auditing standards
Supervise an audit team, fostering their professional development and growth
Develop and implement audit programs and plans to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Utilize various accounting software systems to manage and record transactions
Oversee and manage the audit process mainly for construction and manufacturing businesses
Collaborate with senior staff and stakeholders on strategic decisions and planning
Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and ensure their resolution

Requirements:

5+ years of progressive experience in the field of auditing
CPA certification
Bachelors or Masters in Accounting
Experience with Audit Program
Knowledge of Accounting Functions
Experience in handling Audit Engagements
Experience in formulating Audit Plans
