Job Description:

Your future employee is a construction contractor who are looking to expand and penetrate the market. Currently they are looking for a Purchasing Executive to join them based in Kuala Lumpur office.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for overall procurement of relevant raw & building materials, subcontracting works
Source of reliable suppliers & contractors and to ensure project cost within budget and/or to maximise project savings and/or profits
Verify and approve purchase requisitions by reviewing cost comparison report, clarifying unclear items, recommend alternatives or substitutes, propose value engineering, etc
Verify and approve on materials requisitions, site measurements of work done, progress claims and invoices
Working hand in hand with other departments within the company to ensure smooth and efficient procurement process and on time project delivery
Follow up and look into overall procurement and purchasing administrative matters and any other ad-hoc tasks
Plan and forecast company monthly cash flow and expenses
Follow up and look into overall administrative matters of various contracts and subcontract works including recommendation of payments, variation order certificates, etc

Requirements:

Possess a good knowledge in purchasing in construction
