Job Description:

We are in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst for a long term contract employment opportunity. This role is situated in the heart of Houston, Texas, and is focused on assuring the quality of a project involving the installation of new tablet mounts in a large fleet of trucks across multiple locations.

Job Responsibility:

Execute quality control processes to ensure the successful implementation of the tablet mount project
Collaboratively work with the team to identify and rectify any project issues impacting the quality of outcomes
Regularly monitor the progress of the project, ensuring all quality assurance standards and deadlines are met
Analyze data related to the project and provide insightful feedback and recommendations for improvements
Use your skills in Quality Control to maintain a high standard of quality throughout the project duration
Regularly communicate with team members about project progress and any potential quality issues
Conduct routine checks and audits to ensure the quality of the tablet mounts and their installation
Develop and maintain relevant documentation related to quality assurance processes and project outcomes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role
Proficiency in Quality Control (QC) procedures
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
Understanding of database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including designing and manipulating test data
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate across teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to manage their own work
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
