Job Description:

The Quality Head will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes in a steel manufacturing unit. This role involves ensuring high-quality steel production that meets customer expectations and adheres to industry standards, leading continuous improvement efforts, and managing a team of quality inspectors while fostering a culture of development and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and manage quality control procedures
Conduct regular inspections and audits
Lead and develop a team of quality inspectors
Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze production data and implement solutions
Address steel defects and troubleshoot production challenges
Collaborate with suppliers and manage customer relationships
Mitigate risks affecting product quality

Requirements:

Expertise in steel production techniques
Knowledge of quality control standards
Experience in team leadership and development
Familiarity with industry compliance and certifications
Ability to conduct data analysis and reporting
Proficiency in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Problem-solving and risk management skills
Strong understanding of steel defects and troubleshooting
Effective customer and supplier interaction
Adherence to safety protocols
