Job Description:

QS / Estimator required ASAP for Civil Engineering / Groundworks contractor in Surrey. The client is looking for a candidate from a Quantity Surveying and / or Estimating background, as there are aspects of Pre-Con Estimating as well as Post-Contract QSing across a range of tenders / projects from £1m to £5m. You'll ideally come from a Civil Engineering background, preferably having worked for a subcontractor, although main contracting background with experience working on Civil Engineering subcontractor packages will also be considered. Their clients are generally residential developers within Surrey, Sussex and Kent. The role is office-based and visiting sites as appropriate.

Job Responsibility:

Pre-Con Estimating
Post-Contract QSing across a range of tenders/projects from £1m to £5m
negotiating with main contractors

Requirements:

Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating background
Civil Engineering background
experience working on Civil Engineering subcontractor packages
eligibility to live and work in the UK
