Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced RDK Engineer with a passion for innovation and expertise in RDK development, C programming, and modern technologies. This role involves contributing to the advancement of Xfinity Meter within the DOCSIS 4.0 ecosystem and deploying RDK-based solutions to major telecom companies.

Job Responsibility:

Deploy RDK code and solutions for significant telecom companies, including Verizon
Develop and implement updates for Xfinity Meter, focusing on RDK development
Collaborate with the Tech Lead during the initial 30 days to review the system, understand project milestones, and align with the development roadmap
Coordinate internal software releases across teams, integrating updates into the XM4 RDK codebase
Write and execute unit tests and support integration testing to ensure functionality and reliability
Oversee versioning and manage the deployment of code changes
Provide project updates in development meetings and ensure a seamless code handoff to internal teams

Requirements:

3–5 years of experience specifically in RDK development
7–10 years of overall experience in a related field
Previous experience with Comcast RDK is highly recommended
Proficiency in C programming
Experience with vendors, with Broadcom preferred
Strong knowledge of AWS, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Understanding of integration testing, unit testing, and version control
Familiarity with the DOCSIS framework
Expertise in the release process and deployment best practices
