We are seeking an experienced and motivated Attorney/Lawyer specializing in Real Estate and Construction. This role is based in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, 19102-4109, United States and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our team in a critical role. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties relating to property law, including advising on real estate transactions and disputes.
Job Responsibility:
Handle legal matters related to real estate and construction
Represent the company in court or before government agencies, if necessary
Prepare and review real estate documents, contracts, and agreements
Advise on the legal aspect of real estate transactions
Conduct research to support a legal proceeding, to formulate a defense, or to initiate legal action
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions
Ensure compliance with all real estate laws and regulations
Negotiate real estate transactions, ensuring the best possible terms for the company
Provide legal advice and support on a variety of general corporate matters
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a consistent approach to client service
Requirements:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to the state bar and in good standing
Proven experience as an attorney, preferably within the construction and real estate sectors
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies and argue cases
Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
Strong negotiation skills for achieving the best results for clients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal jargon for the understanding of clients
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously
High ethical standards and professional integrity
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Willingness to stay updated on new rules and regulations in law, particularly in construction and real estate
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
