The role provides support to the Real Estate Services (RES) Risk & Control MCA Lead in maintaining an efficient, risk based, globally consistent MCA (Manager’s Control Assessment) and Issue Escalation Program for RES. The role is also a dedicated Risk Advisor to RES, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense.
Job Responsibility:
Provides support to the RES Risk & Control MCA and Issue Management Lead in maintaining an efficient, risk based, globally consistent Risk & Control program for RES
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the RES Business in the areas of Critical Facilities and Facility Management by advising and supporting activities performed by RES Risk & Control regional members and RES Functional teams based in multiple regions
Manages the RES MCA program: ensures key risks and controls are identified, performs MCA testing, updates Citi Risk & Control (CRC), works with 2nd and 3rd line of defense to update risk assessment process
Support MCA Annual Risk Assessment (ARA) reviews with participation of RES Functional Groups, Risk teams, Citi’s 2nd and 3rd line of defense
Manages Internal and External Audit reviews and ORM interactions related to Subject Matter Area: performs audit preparation and acts as main point of contact part of the global reviews, provides support to regional audits
Coordinate with Global Data Analyst the production of reports and data analytics required for MCA monitoring activities and issue management
Contributes to the Global Issue Management process, ensures all risks and issues self-identified, participates in issue resolutions
Provide presentations and updates to Senior Management on major risks and changes of the SME area
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
5-8 years of experience in risk management, audit and/or real estate operational management
Understanding of risks in real estate operations (construction, facilities management, transactions)
Familiar and fluent to interact with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense and senior management
Experience in reading, interpreting, formulating procedures or manuals is preferred
Ability to influence people across the business to achieve results and to successfully execute assigned responsibilities
Ability to communicate with senior management and manage trainings / presentations online to large audiences
Demonstrated ability to think strategically / analytically and creatively problem solve
Strong command of English, both spoken and written
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
