Job Description:

The Receiving Checker performs various duties to check in merchandise and complete related paperwork, ensuring accurate and efficient workflows in the warehouse environment.

Job Responsibility:

Check in regular and special distribution merchandise from assigned doors
Match purchase order to freight bills and merchandise being received in system
Tag each pallet with a license plate
Note overages and shortages and inspect load for damages
Process RFCs created by the stores by receiving them into the system
Use stand up forklift or pallet jack as needed to help unload merchandise
Frequent overtime offered, particularly during high volume periods, to ensure that all stores are serviced according to daily schedule
Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

Ability to read and write
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Working Knowledge of WMS
Ability to be trained and licensed to operate necessary power equipment (if applicable)
Aptia Knowledge
