Job Description:

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Los Angeles, California for a Receptionist. This role is primarily in the customer service industry where the Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. They will also handle administrative tasks such as booking conference rooms and ordering catering for events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet clients and visitors upon their arrival
  • Manage the booking of conference rooms and visitor offices
  • Order catering and food for events and lunches
  • Ensure the conference room is set up and clean
  • Collaborate with the onsite team to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Answer and transfer calls on a multi-line phone system
  • Accept and sort mail deliveries
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
  • Communicate effectively with manager and client regarding job or deadline issues
  • Maintain a detail-oriented demeanor, akin to a hotel concierge service, at all times
  • Keep things stocked and clean during slow periods.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls in a timely and detail oriented manner
  • Understanding of hiring processes and receptionist duties
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle deliveries and catering orders for onsite events
  • Familiarity with transportation services and booking conference rooms
  • Experience with concierge services is preferred
  • Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to transfer calls and manage switchboard operations effectively
  • Experience in sorting incoming mail and handling visitor inquiries
  • Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion
  • Knowledge of banking operations is advantageous
  • Ability to offer perks and benefits information to employees and visitors
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
