As a Recruiter at Baxter, you are responsible for delivering excellence throughout the Talent Acquisition lifecycle, collaborating closely with Hiring Managers, HR teams, and decision-makers. The role emphasizes candidate sourcing, engagement, market intelligence, compliance, and system accuracy. You will work in a collaborative Talent Acquisition team and act as a Brand Ambassador for Baxter, contributing to continuous improvement and evolving practices.
Job Responsibility:
Lead recruiting activities through to successful hire with a strong focus on direct, candidate identification and sourcing of talent
Collaborating with Hiring Managers to build impactful advertising, driving engagement across social media, talent identification and headhunting and proactive solicitation of referrals
Provide relevant, market intelligence and recruiting insights to Hiring Managers and HR
Deliver an engaging candidate experience by uncovering and understanding factors that influence talent, knowing their motivators and adjusting your approach to handle a variety of situations
Challenge and influence stakeholders to drive successful and productive activities around screening, slate presentation, interviewing and hiring decisions
Represent Baxter’s total compensation philosophy when handling offer negotiations
Coach candidates on how to prepare for selection stages and provide feedback in a timely manner
Manage and update requisitions through to completion including ensuring real-time system updates
Identify and raise risk or compliance issues
Understand critical and repeatable roles to advise talent pipelining strategy
Maintain and enhance knowledge of Baxter to ensure evolving business understanding and knowledge
Analyze recruitment activity to support relevant conversations around volumes, performance, and forecasting
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
Minimum HS or GED required
1+ years of experience in an agency or corporate recruiting or HR role
Familiarity of end-to-end recruitment process and ability to successfully conduct a recruitment strategy meeting
Experience partnering with the business to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies for sourcing, pipelining, and developing requisitions
Introductory knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems to ensure data accuracy, proper candidate stage tracking, and timely communication throughout the recruitment journey
Confident in sourcing for multiple searches and supporting several hiring managers simultaneously
An understanding of the importance of a positive candidate experience, with emphasis on timely updates, transparent feedback, and consistent process
A willingness to learn and promote Baxter brand by learning employer brand initiatives and serving as an ambassador for Baxter to expand our presence through social media and other channels
Basic knowledge of compensation structure and philosophy (benefits, bonuses, etc.) and able to communicate package to stakeholders and candidates.
