The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) is responsible for operational oversight across multiple centers to ensure efficiency and optimize resources. The role emphasizes patient experience, team mentorship, standardization of best practices, and implementation of operational improvements. Leaders must travel within the designated geography (80%) and bring strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibility:
Multi-Center Operational Rigor with a focus on patient experience and engagement
Ensure all centers are operationally efficient and are optimizing resources for patients
Deep ownership of and expanded focus on patient experience
Focus on schedule management, patient responsiveness, and clinical outcomes
Continuously improving sites through proactive identification and improvement of operational opportunities
Problem solving with center level leadership and sustainable solution creation
Promotion of standardization to best practices and SOPs to promote quality control
Implementation of Clinic Operations Programming and Improvements
Launch new initiatives to enhance daily operations
Be the conduit to corporate clinical operations teams to provide feedback on new initiatives
Development and Management of Center Operations Leaders
Instill collaborative culture between operational leaders in region
Onboard, train and coach new Practice Managers
Conduct independent operational reviews on performance, quality, and other metrics
Support Practice Managers in team development and build a regional cohort culture
Lead efforts to support overall employee engagement scores
Ambassador for DE&I initiatives across region
Cultivate Oak Street Health's mission to rebuild healthcare as it should be
Requirements:
5 or more years of experience in a supervisory role in a clinical or medical setting, with at least 2 years of multi-site experience
Undergraduate degree required, Masters preferred
Incredible level of organization, reliability and independence
A passion for mentorship and team-development
A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities across various stakeholders and departments
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work across a matrixed organization
Travel required to centers within geography (80%)
US work authorization
