Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Development of Regulation assessment tasks
Representation of EDPR in the different RES Associations and developing lobbying strategic capabilities
Navigation of the regulatory regime
Understanding the regulations governing mature and new technologies
CfD auctions: Ensuring a smooth and efficient participation in the Allocation Rounds
Regulatory/ Lobbying
Market Participation: Assisting renewable energy projects (including BESS projects) to comply with grid codes and participate in energy markets effectively

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics
At least 5 years in Strategy or Management Consulting (in energy area) or in an industrial company in departments linked to strategy, energy planning, regulation, or trading
Prior work with or membership in renewable energy associations
Grid Reform Knowledge: Possess a functional understanding of grid terminology, codes, and standards
Professional Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy sector in the UK
Native English
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of electricity sector and regulatory functioning
Curious and with strong willingness to learn, with attention to detail
