Job Description:

As a Reliability Engineer you are supporting the New Product Development with Defining Project Reliability Growth Plans. You define and drive truck reliability targets including subsystems and components. Next to that you measure and predict product reliability. Support warranty and preventative maintenance predictions and support Design/System engineering with root cause finding methods and corrective action verification. Drive pro-active validation activities for Hyster internally as well as with component suppliers (eg D-FMEA) and report project reliability status and progress. Also you identify and implement continuous improvement activities for reliability engineering tools and processes as well as maintaining and distributing warranty claim reports.

Job Responsibility:

Support the New Product Development with Defining Project Reliability Growth Plans
Define and drive truck reliability targets including subsystems and components
Measure and predict product reliability
Support warranty and preventative maintenance predictions
Support Design/System engineering with root cause finding methods and corrective action verification
Drive pro-active validation activities for Hyster internally as well as with component suppliers (eg D-FMEA)
Report project reliability status and progress
Identify and implement continuous improvement activities for reliability engineering tools and processes
Maintain and distribute warranty claim reports

Requirements:

Master / Bachelor degree in Engineering
5+ years work experience in automotive or equivalent industry
Experience in agile work environments and product development processes
Knowledge of reliability / prod. development tools such as DFMEA, FTA, Weibull, etc.)
Quality focused and analytically strong
Strong teamwork skills
Effective PC skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Good and effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent business English

Nice to have:

Sig Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Power BI skills
