Job Description:

Randstad is working to support a respite service supporting children and their families with complex learning and physical disabilities. The role involves providing care and support to vulnerable children in a safe and nurturing environment with the possibility of a permanent contract. Extensive training, career progression, and benefits are offered.

Job Responsibility:

Working effectively as part of a team of child support workers
Providing 24 hours care to a vulnerable young people
Providing personal care to children
Administering medication
Promoting a positive parenting role model
Ensuring professional boundaries are in place
Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards

Requirements:

Have previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
Have strong communication skills
Register under the PVG scheme
Full driving licence (Required)
Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
