Job Description:

This TEAM LEADER role is responsible for the development of the IKEA business in his/her respective area of responsibility: IKEA Restaurant. He / She strives to make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that gives the customers a good reason to return again.

Job Responsibility:

Development of the IKEA business in the IKEA Restaurant area
Make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere
Look at the store through the eyes of customers and walk the store regularly
Have a daily dialogue with customers to get continuous feedback about their experiences
Ensure the area is efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised, attractive and inviting
Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality, and diversity is valued

Requirements:

At least 3 years relevant experience of working in a leadership role managing a large team in a fast-paced food and/or retail environment
Experience of working with a KPI-driven action plan and knowledgeable in food safety (HACCP) guidelines
Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead, train, influence and collaborate with others
Sales-driven, cost-conscious and passionate about food and people
Flexible and open to change
Confident in approaching and talking to people in a friendly manner
Take personal initiative and have good attention to details
Computer literate, specifically in MS Office system
Experience in retail and merchandising are essential
