Job Description:

Responsible for optimizing the shopping experience and maximizing retail sales by leveraging interior design knowledge and customer relationships to sell specialized home furnishing solutions while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational standards

Job Responsibility:

Use knowledge of interior design to provide guidance on layout, color, style and accessories for residential and business customers
Sell specialized home furnishing solutions, such as kitchens, bath, storage systems, and services
Create relationships with customers to identify customer needs and provide support before, during and after the sales
Apply basic measurement techniques and understanding of planning, design, and construction to ensure customer orders are correct and to specification
Drive repeat visitation to IKEA stores by ensuring the sales team is customer-centric
Overseeing day-to-day operations including store opening and closing duties
Ensure a safe and secure work environment
Partner with Safety & Security to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and audits
Implement working routines, competence development, and follow-up of Commercial Review and Compliance (ASR)
Perform CMP goods flow and customer handout operations efficiently

Requirements:

3 years' experience
Previous retail selling experience
Experience in a consultative sales environment
Experience leading change initiatives and building new programs in a retail space environment
Experience in designing kitchen and bath preferred
CPR/First Aid Certification is a required condition of employment for this role (Training provided)
Travel is required (25-50%, 2 days per week on average)
