Job Description:

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking two Risk Analysts (Intake Analysts) to join their AML FIU Canada team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in risk management, compliance, and financial analysis. The role involves analyzing financial data, assessing risks, and supporting the organization in mitigating potential threats. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze the organization’s financial status, including assets, liabilities, cash flow, and tax status
Develop financial plans and risk management programs to minimize losses and insurance costs
Conduct research on accidents or losses involving company personnel or products
Maintain data quality and ensure accuracy in risk management systems
Identify key risks associated with potential investments, ownership structures, customer bases, and industry segments
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and risk positions, with recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in a relevant role
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Experience in intake processing and analysis
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience
Background in risk analysis

Nice to have:

Experience in the banking or financial services industry
