Job Description:

The successful candidate will join Citi’s Enterprise Risk Identification (Risk ID) Research and Analysis team, responsible for comprehensive risk identification across Citi’s businesses and functions. The role involves proactive risk monitoring, deep-dive analysis, and collaboration with internal subject matter experts to identify and mitigate risks.

Job Responsibility:

Proactive identification and monitoring of key macro, market, sector risks
Deep-dive, fundamental-based analysis on key risks
Deep-dive analysis on adhoc/less-known Risk topics
Creation of stress testing proposals
Narration of risk in a reader-friendly manner
Execution of Citi vs. peers’ risk analysis
Creation of the team’s governance, controls and data quality processes

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, preferably Master’s degree
Field of Study in Analytical focus (Finance, Business Administration, Economics, etc.)
Experience in research, risk management or consulting role
Knowledge of economics/banking databases and software such as Haver, Bloomberg and S&P
Knowledge of data visualisation and presentation (e.g., Powerpoint, Tableau, Excel)
Working knowledge of general-purpose programming languages (e.g., R/Python) preferred
Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication
Experience in presentation to Senior-level internal/external clients and Senior Management preferred
Collaborative work style
Ability to lead detail-oriented intense projects
Can-do positive attitude
Ability to think outside the box
Ability to prioritise multiple projects under tight deadlines

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of general-purpose programming languages (e.g., R/Python)
Experience in presentation to Senior-level internal/external clients and Senior Management
