Job Description:

Robert Half has partnered with a well-respected client in the Baltimore area to hire a Risk Manager for their growing team. The Risk Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the enterprise-wide risk management framework to identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate risks that could impact the achievement of the organization's objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, policies, and procedures
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all areas of the business
Collaborate with business units and functional departments to facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities
Monitor and evaluate key risk indicators (KRIs) and control effectiveness
Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans
Provide guidance and support to business units on risk management best practices
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks
Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives related to risk management

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk, Finance, or related
8+ years of related corporate risk experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent customer service skills and collaboration
Strong audit / compliance experience in BOTH finance and technology
