Job Description:

Collaborate with senior leadership to provide critical risk insights and support strategic decision-making. Design and implement an effective Risk and Control Environment, embedding strong governance standards. Develop global framework documents for Operational Resilience, including DORA compliance, BCM, and Crisis Management. Act as a subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders in establishing risk frameworks to mitigate Non-Financial Risk exposures and meet regulatory expectations. Lead the development and execution of Operational Resilience initiatives, including Governance, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management. Oversee the implementation of Business Continuity and Crisis Management programs, ensuring industry best practices and regulatory compliance. Manage crisis situations effectively within the established Crisis Management framework. Stay updated on industry trends, legal requirements, and regulatory developments to ensure compliance and best practices. Develop and manage Risk Appetite and Controls frameworks to strengthen the organization’s risk posture. Engage independently with regulators and auditors to ensure alignment with compliance requirements. Lead and oversee Operational Resilience and BCM governance forums, as needed. Build, motivate, and manage a high-performing team to drive resilience initiatives successfully. Take ownership of Operational Resilience, BCM, and Crisis Management mandates across the Americas region.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

>10 years of risk management experience
Proven track record in operating a measurements-based culture leading to continual improvement
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
Strong PowerPoint skills
Time management – the successful candidate will often need to deal with multiple priorities and should therefore be highly organised and be able to multi-task
