Job Description:

The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, and ensuring the safety of guests and employees. The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor security systems
Conduct daily hazard inspections
Respond to emergencies
Administer first aid/CPR
Defuse disturbances
Complete incident reports
Handle complaints
Resolve safety hazards
Escort unwelcome persons
Conduct investigations
Gather evidence
Conduct interviews
Maintain confidentiality
Protect company assets
Welcome guests
Anticipate guest needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Develop positive working relationships
Comply with quality standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No specific license or certification required
Ability to patrol property, monitor security systems, respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and handle disturbances
Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, and manipulate objects
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through confined spaces and uneven surfaces
Ability to read and visually verify information
Ability to use computers and point of sale systems
