Job Description:

The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety of guests and employees. The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor security systems
Conduct daily hazard inspections
Respond to emergencies
Administer first aid/CPR
Defuse disturbances
Complete incident reports
Handle complaints
Resolve safety hazards
Escort unwelcome persons
Conduct investigations
Gather evidence
Conduct interviews

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to patrol property, monitor security systems, and respond to emergencies
Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and 75 pounds with assistance
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
