Job Description:

The Sales Executive handles customer inquiries, acts as the on-property liaison for group sales, contracts and closes group business, and conducts site inspections. The role involves achieving group revenue goals, implementing the brand’s service strategy, and driving customer loyalty. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience, or a 2-year degree with 2 years of experience. Large group sales experience is preferred.

Job Responsibility:

Handles customer inquiries
Acts as on-property liaison for group sales
Contracts and closes group business
Conducts site inspections
Achieves group revenue goals
Implements brand’s service strategy
Drives customer loyalty
Develops group sales revenue and operation budgets
Provides forecasting reports
Creates and implements group sales/marketing plans
Assists with group sales promotions
Attends pre- and post-convention meetings
Provides turnover to Event Management
Monitors same day selling procedures
Executes operational aspects of business booked
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
2 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
Large group sales experience (preferred)
