Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join the Sheraton Brussels Airport Hotel. The intern will be responsible for maintaining sales reports, producing accurate and timely reports, collecting and analyzing information of top accounts, providing administrative support, and delivering outstanding customer service. The intern will also develop key strategies to identify customer needs, maintain effective liaison with clients, and provide regular feedback to managers. The position offers an opportunity to join the Marriott group and develop an international professional career.

Job Responsibility:

Maintenance of Sales reports and databases
Produce accurate and timely reports
Collecting, analysing information of top accounts
Provide assistance for day to day administrative work of the Sales Department
Deliver outstanding customer service
Develop key strategies to identify key customer needs
Maintain effective and appropriate liaison with clients
Give Administrative support activities
Provide regular feedback to the Convention Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and other managers
Develop strategies to enhance customer service and core standards
Assist the person in charge of the leisure market
Ensure show rooms are ready every day for site inspections

Requirements:

Experience with Excel is an advantage
Word-processing skills: Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint is an advantage
Fluent in English and French or Dutch, any other additional language is a plus
Develop strong communication strategies with all members of the Sales and Events Team
Sales oriented
Customer focused

Nice to have:

Any other additional language is a plus

What we offer:

An allowance of 750€ /month (overseas students) and 350€ /month (Belgian students)
5 pieces of clothes to clean/week
Meals during working hours
Transportation from the hotel to the residence in Belgium
