Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) South Africa is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Intern to join their team. The internship provides an opportunity for individuals to gain sales and business development experience in the technology industry. Responsibilities include customer engagement, sales support, market research, participating in sales-related activities, and providing administrative assistance to the sales team.
Job Responsibility:
Actively engage with potential and existing customers via telephone, email, and virtual meetings to understand their needs and promote HPE solutions
assist the sales team in lead generation, follow-ups, and pipeline management to drive business growth
conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential market opportunities
participate in sales meetings, product training, and strategy sessions to develop a strong understanding of HPE’s sales methodologies
provide general support to the sales team, including preparing reports, managing CRM entries, and assisting with proposals.
Requirements:
A graduate with a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or relevant work experience in a sales environment
must be proficient in English, both written and spoken
a strong interest in sales with a proactive and results-driven approach
interest in the technology sector and eagerness to learn about HPE’s products and solutions
self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and determination to succeed
must be comfortable engaging with clients over the telephone and in virtual environments.
