Job Description:

Join IKEA Exeter as a Sales Team Leader to lead by example, co-create the wonderful everyday with the team and guests, and achieve common goals in a dynamic retail environment. Commit to long-term profitability and sustainability alongside promoting the IKEA brand identity.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and coach team of co-workers on the shop floor
work collaboratively with Department Sales Manager
ensure department meets merchandising basics (priced, clean, well-assembled, and available)
share knowledge of IKEA products with guests and team
steer department to maximise sales and profitability
promote IKEA social and environmental commitment
contribute to sustainability

Requirements:

Established experience within a commercial retail environment
ability to work collaboratively with a team and the wider business
good communication skills
ability to inspire and lead a team
ability to make decisions and follow up on progress
belief in and ability to work with IKEA Concept and Brand Identity
