Job Description:

As a SALT Manager, you'll be primarily involved in the design, development, and optimization of software tools for multi-state tax compliance and reporting. In addition, you will play a significant role in automating repetitive tax processes and developing systems to collect, analyze, and store tax data.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and optimize software tools to facilitate multi-state tax compliance and reporting
Automate repetitive tax processes such as nexus determination, apportionment calculations, and tax return generation
Develop and maintain systems for tax data collection, storage, and analysis
Provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams through data analysis
Ensure the integrity and security of sensitive tax information via best practices in data management
Provide technical support to tax teams by troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, tax professionals, and external vendors, to guarantee that software meets business needs
Assist in maintaining accurate customer credit records
Process customer credit applications accurately and promptly
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

Requirements:

Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
Experience with CaseWare
Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx
Ability to use CCH Sales Tax
Understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision
Skills in Auditing
Compliance expertise
Proficient in Entity Formation
