Job Description:

The SAP Project Manager role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise is focused on leading and executing IT projects, including SAP implementations, with a dynamic and detail-oriented approach. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project execution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate as a member or lead development team(s)
  • perform analysis of functional and business requirements
  • prepare and complete code to implement solutions
  • contribute to and design solutions
  • perform solution design
  • apply company and 3rd party technologies to complex infrastructure and software solutions
  • track and execute day-to-day project deliveries in alignment with project plan
  • ensure project meets required quality standards
  • motivate and lead project teams
  • act as a liaison between test team and business system owners
  • manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners
  • maintain thorough project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working for large IT services/IT outsourcing companies with SAP implementation
  • strong client-facing experience
  • ability to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria
  • ability to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budget
  • experience collaborating with Solution Architects, delivery teams, and managing external vendors
  • ability to identify potential risks and issues impacting project success
  • ability to develop mitigation strategies
  • experience managing Change Requests, including assessing impact
  • experience tracking and leading day-to-day execution of projects
  • ability to ensure quality standards and motivate project teams
  • experience acting as a liaison between test teams and business system owners
  • experience managing relationships with third-party vendors
  • ability to maintain project documentation, including plans, design documents, status reports, and meeting notes.
