Requirements:

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
Previous experience working in a similar role within data analysis and statistical projects
Familiarity with industry-specific applications of SAS (e.g., healthcare, finance, marketing)
Proficiency in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL
Extensive experience with SAS Enterprise Guide for creating, modifying, and running SAS programs and processes
Strong skills in data manipulation, data cleaning, and data transformation
Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
Proficiency in working with large datasets and complex data structures
Knowledge of statistical methods and procedures for data analysis
Ability to perform descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, regression analysis, and other statistical techniques using SAS
Experience in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAS tools such as SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Enterprise Guide
Ability to translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights
Experience with integrating SAS with other data sources and platforms
Proficiency in automating SAS processes and scripts to improve efficiency
Experience in managing and delivering data projects within scope, time, and budget constraints
Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions
Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, and creating comprehensive documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and end-users
Certifications: SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9
SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9
Additional relevant SAS certifications
Fluent in English
