Job Description:

A Secondary School in Sudbury is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join its thriving Science department. The role involves planning and delivering engaging Science lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' scientific curiosity and critical thinking skills, and collaborating with other Science teachers.

Job Responsibility:

Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5 teaching
Creating a stimulating and interactive learning environment, incorporating experiments, technology, and real-world applications
Fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills through inquiry and experimentation
Collaborating with a supportive team of Science teachers

Requirements:

Qualified teacher holding QTS (or equivalent) with a specialisation in Science
Deep understanding of the Science curriculum at the secondary level
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
Passionate about making science accessible and enjoyable for students of all abilities
