Job Description:

We are offering an employment opportunity for a Scrum Master II in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the role, you will function as a servant leader for our scrum teams, ensuring their effectiveness in an Agile Scrum environment.

Job Responsibility:

Coach team members on self-organization, cross-functionality, and Agile best practices
Lead the team in creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done
Actively work on removing any impediments to the team’s progress
Ensure that all Scrum events are organized, engaging, and productive, including Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and Sprint Review
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to influence decision making and support the project or product teams
Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization, coaching them to reach higher levels of maturity
Facilitate work completion without assigning or dictating the tasks
Facilitate discussions, decision-making processes, and conflict resolution
Assist with both internal and external communication to improve transparency and radiate information
Encourage and support the acquisition of Scrum Master certifications, such as CSM, PSM I, SASM, among the team members

Requirements:

Proficiency in reviewing project progress and identifying potential issues
Demonstrated experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and practices
Exceptional ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Commitment to incorporating best practices in all aspects of work
Strong understanding and application of Agile principles in project management
Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to resolve project conflicts
Proven experience as a Scrum Master, overseeing teams and managing projects
Strong knowledge of conflict resolution techniques in a project management context
Ability to ensure sustainable work practices within the team
Experience in Sprint planning, execution, and monitoring
Proficient in external communication and coordination with other teams and departments
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent ScrumMaster Certification
Proven ability to remove impediments and facilitate team progress
Experience in leading and motivating Scrum teams towards achieving project goals
