Job Description:

This role operates within the Biotech industry and involves a blend of leadership responsibilities and SEC Reporting tasks. The role is based in a physical office location.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage SEC reporting and compliance
Guide the team in understanding and implementing SEC regulations
Ensure regular and accurate external reporting
Use experience from a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm to improve processes and strategies
Apply CPA skills to enhance the financial operations and compliance of the firm
Contribute to the commercialization process with detail-oriented experience
Foster relationships with the investment community
Guide the team through progressive career growth opportunities

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC Compliance or related field
Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
Proven experience in External Reporting is necessary
Prior experience working in a Big 4 Accounting Firm is preferred
Proficient in SEC Financial Reporting is a must
Strong knowledge and understanding of SEC Regulations is essential
Demonstrated history of successful compliance management in previous roles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is crucial
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are needed
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide a team are key
