Job Description:

The SEC Reporting Manager will be responsible for preparing and reviewing both external SEC reporting and internal financial reporting, as well as financial analytical preparation and review. This position will provide support to the Director of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting, supervising financial reporting staff and coordinating deliverables to external advisors and/or auditors.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the preparation and review of internal financial reports
Handle the preparation and review of external SEC reporting
Coordinate with external and internal auditors
Maintain compliance with policies, processes, and internal controls
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement
Leverage technology to drive efficiencies
Assist in the establishment, documentation, maintenance, testing and compliance with Standard Accounting Policies and Procedures
Regularly review and update the company’s accounting policies
Ensure documentation meets internal control requirements
Oversee the preparation and review of SEC and GAAP reports
Undertake other duties and special assignments as required

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting
CPA
7+ years experience, 1-2+ in Manager role
SEC reporting
SOX
External audit liaison experience
Technical accounting knowledge – ASC 842, 606, 805
