Job Description:

The position involves teaching Business Studies to Secondary school students following IB/IGCSE/National Curriculum standards. Candidates must foster an inclusive learning environment, adapt lessons to diverse needs, and engage in school-wide events and extracurricular activities. The role also emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and a passion for student development.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-quality, tailored Business Studies classes to the UK and IB curriculum incorporating innovative teaching methods that foster intellectual curiosity and a love of learning
Plan and execute creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, effectively addressing the diverse needs of all learners through differentiated instruction
Establish a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and a genuine passion for learning
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to ensure each learner's holistic development and academic success
Lead or support extra-curricular activities and Business Studies related clubs
Inspire learners to engage in Business Studies beyond the classroom
Contribute to school-wide events and initiatives
Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and school events
Contribute to curriculum development initiatives and share best practices with colleagues

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Studies or a related to teaching subject
PGCE, QTS or appropriate Teaching License
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a classroom setting

Proven ability to design and implement engaging lessons
Expertise in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs
Demonstrated success in creating an inclusive classroom environment
Strong understanding of literacy and mathematical skill development within a Secondary setting
