Job Description:

We are offering an employment opportunity for a Security Engineer in Haslet, Texas. In this role, you will be integral in bolstering our security measures and refining our information security tools and processes. Key to this role is the enhancement of our infrastructure's defense against both internal and external threats.

Job Responsibility:

Drive improvements to our information security tools and processes
Play a pivotal role in strengthening our infrastructure's defense against threats
Support the day-to-day security monitoring activities
Investigate and respond to security alerts promptly
Declare security incidents and coordinate appropriate responses
Recommend modifications to enhance our security controls
Suggest improvements to our security practices and stack
Utilize tools such as Microsoft Defender, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, and Rapid7
Collaborate effectively within a virtual team setup
Maintain excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Defender
Proficient in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
Demonstrated experience with SIEM Tools
Familiarity with Rapid7 platform is a must
Ability to identify, analyze and address security incidents
Strong understanding of security protocols and standards
Capable of developing and implementing robust security systems.
