Job Description:

W Amsterdam is casting a Security Officer to join the security team. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of associates, guests, visitors, and the hotel premises, adhering to safety policies, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Overlook the safety & security as well as the overall well-being of all associates, guests, visitors and the hotel premises
Responsible for the primary actions of fire management, theft, trespassing, burglary and first aid
Ensure all safety & security policies and house rules are correctly implemented and followed at all times
Make regular rounds of all areas and corridors of both hotel buildings
Comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) of W Amsterdam
Supervise the issuing of operational-, locker- and office keys
Attend training when requested
Record and report all on-premises incidents as per the company’s requirements
Adhere to the confidentiality policy of the company
Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with loud music
Be flexible to work with other departments
Communicate with your team and other departments
Put the guests at the center of everything we do

Requirements:

Fluent in English
Preferred experience in a similar position within the 5* hotel category
Mandatory possession of an ABM diploma or a Beveiliger 2 diploma
Possession of a BHV certificate/ Liftbevrijdings certificate/ Beheerder Brandmeldinstallatie or the willingness to obtain it
